Waukesha, Pewaukee, Manitowoc, Kewaskum, and Sheboygan are just a few of the cities of Wisconsin. But can you pronounce them? The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel challenged some Texans to try their linguistic skills on the names of places Wisconsinites call home. The link to the youtube video is here . I'm in Milwaukee at the moment, and have been for four years. While not a true Wisconsinite (Michigander at heart), I found it pretty easy to wrap my tongue around such garbled mouthfuls! I give the video some credit for using names of bigger, well known cities and not tiny, random ones in the middle of nowhere.
