Weirdest egg yet...

My three hens each lay most every day. Normally, we have typical brown eggs. Today, we got this:

Although I have never gotten one of these myself, I have seen lots of pictures of them. I think it's just a fluke. I am fascinated by funny looking eggs for some reason.

have heard that sometimes stress or shock (like a hawk flying over, or predator (snake?) in the area can cause wierd eggs.

If you're hens are older they will lay an odd egg every once in awhile. One of my hens lays a wrinkly topped egg during the winter, but then when it gets warmer her eggs are normal again.
