I picked up 3 new black female Runner Ducks today! I had 1 male and 2 females already. I took the advice of folks on here and added a separate area for the new ducks beside the others. I'm lucky enough to have a garden shed I emptied and added a pool with hay for a shelter for the new ones for now. As soon as they seem comfortable with each other I'll move the new ones in with the others. How long do you think that could take? A week? Longer? What should I watch for to know they're OK with each other?

Just make sure they don't have any diseases so you might have to separate them for about a week. And maybe longer if you notice pecking through the fencing or any symptoms for diseases.

Some people integrate sooner, but I always quarantine new flock members for 30 days to ensure they aren't carrying anything and are healthy.
I have the space to do that so I may just do the full 30 days!
