Hiya! 
My name’s Lindsey. I live in Louisiana with my husband, 2 kids (4.5 y/o girl & almost 2 y/o boy), 1 Red Doberman & 1 adopted Domestic Short haired cat, and now a handful of chicks!
I’ve wanted to have chickens for a LONG time, and now I’m finally getting my chance at it!!
At this time I’ve got 2 Orpingtons (1 Buff, 1 Lavender), 2 Cochins (Gold laced, I believe), 2 Brahma (1 Buff, 1 Light), 1 Cuckoo Maran, 1 Welsummer, 1 Polish (Blue, I’m thinking), and 2 -what I was told- Ameraucana (although after lurking on BYC I’m believing they’re actually EEs.. sad day.).
I’ve chosen the name CackleShack as my username because that’s what I call our coop.
Anyway, I am excited to have finally joined the community! And I look forward to soaking up all your knowledge, and maybe even making a new friend or two!
