Well I went and done it now *added PICS*

Thank you all!

We do love our chickens and after all this work I better start seeing eggs soon.

PS: DH got a new 10x10 shed so I could have the 8x8. We had to build that too.

You have a wonderful husband for building another coop for you! I am hoping I can get my hubby to help me build a permanent coop/run this winter. Currently using a tractor set up with a PVC pipe run that I move around the yard every few days. Getting to be a hastle and the poop everywhere!! Small lot as we live in the city! Love your coop!

We are in town as well. I was lucky enough to find a HUGE yard that happened to have a smallish house on it lol.

It makes me laugh every day.
The conversation went like this every spring and summer for 4 years.
me---"Can I get some baby chickens?"
Him-- "NO!"
me--"But they are so cute"
Him--"We live in town"
me--"But they made it so we can have them"
Him--" You are not allowed to go to the farm stores or feed stores or anywhere they have chickens in the spring or summer"

He was of course joking about grounding me. I wish someone had told me that he could not say no on Mothers Day a few years ago!
That is all it took. Go to get dog food and find myself bringing home a small box held very carefully and grinning ear to ear.
