Well, there's one neighbor who wouldn't mind a roo!

We just heard a rooster crowing on the property across the road from us - we have fellow chicken peeps in the 'hood!

We have several in our neighborhood, along with some super noisy geese down the street somewhere.

We don't have any roos and they are supposed to be banned, but they are all over around here.

Our neighbours I think are a bit of a chicken addict family. They had three hens, who we saw and admired and decided to get our own...

Then they got two more: five hens. And then three more: eight hens. And then two smaller chicks, a hen and a roo, but poor United 891 had to get sent away to the Uncle's farm because he was a roo

(His name wasn't really United, but I gave him a nickname as he didn't seem to have one

)

Their nine hens are in about a third of the space that our three get.
