I have been assuming that this 11-week old Wellsummer-Golden Buff cross is a cockerel, but he hasn't crowed once, and I thought by now that would be the final word on things. Does anyone think it may be a pullet? attaching photos to show him (?) from a few different angles.

Yes I thought the iridescent tail feathers were a give away. I'm just confused by the white feathers. None of my golden buffs had that... and I'm not familiar with the Wellsummer breed as chicks.

100% a cockerel. Bright comb, messy pattern and all those colors, and the male feathering coming in are a dead give away. 11 weeks is still very young for crowing to start in most cases I feel. I've never had a boy start growing before 4 months old.

Yes - dad is golden buff and mom is wellsummer. The only other option would be full GB, because all of my other hens are GB. And that clearly isn't the case given those feathers.
