Welp Hatchery?

I got my Blue Australorps from Welp and was happy with both the customer service and the quality of the birds.

My only beef with them is the order minimums -- because I don't necessarily want 25 chicks at a time or 5 of the same breed. :)
I was actually planning on getting 30 D'Uccles, Each variety, I was just curious about their shipping, How well the Birds survived it

If the cold snap hadn't happened and they had packaged it properly, I think I would have had a much better end result. But the stryrofoam was placed poorly and blocked most of the airholes pretty badly and tape to keep it shut blocked the rest.

Mine were a late September hatch and arrived quickly and in splendid condition. No issues with stress-related conditions, just 26 vigorous chicks (the extra turned out to be a Blue Cuckoo Marans cockerel, whom I sold for a nice price).

I'd probably buy from them if I was processing for food. I'd just fill the needed space with meaties
I think all their meat birds ship separately from their eggers. So you have to place separate orders for the meat birds. I just received 25 Cornish Rocks from Welp. Only one was DOA, the rest are doing great. Very happy with shipping time and the hatchery. Took them 2-3 days to return my phone call when I called with a question, but they were respectful and helpful when they called me back.
