Sorry I know the answer to the age they stop and are all strains of harlequin good layers or just select strains?They are sounding like my ultimate breed lol. Do you know what age they stop laying?

Well, the are almost identical to khakis, and my 4 year old khaki has started to slow a bit. I’m not sure what age they actually stop laying. But in my mind I compare duck years to human menopause.

Do you think any Welsh harlequin will lay well or just certain strains? And only just slowing at 4 your Campbell is a good layer
Apparently the breed started when someone hatched out a pair of odd light ducklings from pure Khaki Campbell eggs.
