welsomer not laying

I bought a welsomer 8 weeks ago. I dont know how old it was but the owner told me it was due to start laying "anyday" Still no eggs. How long before I abandon all hope?

So it's still a young thing? You might have to wait a bit. My Wellies always take longer to get started than the other birds.

Then again, could be any minute now. Better go check.
