On May 1st I hatched out 7 Welsummer roosters from eggs I obtained from a Welsummer breeder in Arkansas. They are growing well and I need to downsize. Five of them are priced at $8 each.
I have 2 Welsummers with flaws-one had the blade of his comb nipped off by another as a wee chick so he is not show quality and the other has feather stubs on his shanks and would not be for breeding. Those two along with 2 Faverolles x Cream Legbar cockerels are $5 each which covers the cost of feed.
I am willing to Drive to the Denver area or Eastern CO to meet up and will discount for multiple roos
I also have two 10 month roosters and a 2 year old rooster who have undergone a quieting surgery with variable results, none are completely quieted. I am looking to place them in homes and are priced at $15 and $25. The older rooster is very gentle and never offered any signs of aggressive behavior in the 2 years he has been free ranging in my backyard.
Video of the two younger ones crowing can be seen on Youtube:
