I am in the process of improving my flock genetics and I have 3 really nice boys to place. They all crow and are reproductively active, and are very polite. I have 5 high priced cockerels coming in behind them, so Manny, Mo and Jack need to move on. These guys were hatched in late April 2012, and are healthy and fit. These are pet quality boys; all need better tails and combs to compete at shows.
Here is a sample pic.

Welsummers are beautiful roos. They look great and are not out of control in the yard either. I have been impressed with the breed and their behavior in flocks.
So, I have 3 that are looking for a new home. Contact me here if interested. I am in Southern Maryland near Washington, DC.

No plans at this time. I was at the Richmond show a few weeks ago, but no plans to go anywhere until after the Holidays. Let me check on shipping and get back.

OK, I ordered some shipping boxes and will check Express Shipping Costs tomorrow at Post Office.
I'll post results here.

Sorry, I was off-line for a day.
If you would like a rooster for your home flock, post the zipcode here and I will get a postal estimate Friday/Saturday at the P.O.
I should be able to ship next week, boxes came today.

Ok, happy story.
I did rehome one of the roosters, and all is well at his new digs.
I still have 2 that need a nice home.

I still have a healthy, happy Welsummer rooster that needs a new home, as he and his brother just started fighting last week. He is very people friendly, I can pick him up, etc.
I am also going to have a very limited number (1 or 2) Rhode Island White cockerels in a few weeks. Breed your own ISA Browns (ISA Browns are great egg layers and are a cross between a Rhode Island Red hen and a Rhode Island White rooster).
Post your interest here y'all.
