Oooo I dont know which one to pick!Im ordering 5 chickens from purely poultry but dont know which breed to get!I like cubalayas becouse they are great forageres and tame easily but I love the coloring of barnevelders but the dark eggs of the welsummer are beutiful I simply dont know which one to get can anyone help out?Anyone ever raise these types of birds? If so it would be nice to give your advice. thanks

I'd vote Cubalayas simply because very few people have them, and they're very good and beautiful birds! No promise on them being that way from a hatchery though, but it is worth a try.

And if you truly do want dark eggs, go for Black Copper Marans instead. There are none in hatcheries (or, I heard one hatchery has a fresh stock of them) but it is SOO worth getting a dozen hatching eggs from a breeder! They're just as cheap, you can actually see what type of eggs they will lay, and you can watch the whole process, and get three times as connected to your chicks!

(plus, a cheap incubator is less than 100 dollars)
