Okay...I hate chick season! Why do they have to be so darn cute and tempting! We had initially bought 50 ISA chicks (not what we wanted, but that is alright). A few had died, unfortunately, and then we bought 15 more (red rock/australorp cross, leghorn cross, sussex cross)....OMG! Just the other day, DH and I went to a poultry swap nearby and we bought 18 fertile blue laced red wyandotte eggs. HOLY SMOKES!!! Before all of this we bought 5 SLR's chicks.....AHHHH! On top of all of that, we already have 33 hens and 4 roosters. What is going on? It is a complete addiction!!!
