went to asheville nc this past weekend

and married off our baby boy It really was a great weekend though, they have been dating since 9th grade. He is 23. But still a little sad because he is my baby. Now he has a wife. The wedding was at Deerfields. I tell you I love the mountains. Hubby says he could live up there, and I agree. But you know the old saying, when a daughter marries you gain a son and when a son marries you lose a son.

And speaking of daughters

, she and her husband are giving us our second grandchild the end of March or the first of April. GOD IS GOOD..

Asheville is my hometown. Last time we visited, in 2007, I hardly recognized it.
