We are a newbie chicken family but we are quickly catching the chicken bug. We currently have 7 chicks. (all farm store quality but we love them!) But our sweetest and most favorite is our little buff Orpington, Marmalade. My daughters want more orps and I would love to find a few in some of the really beautiful colors I've seen. Would love a lavender laced (not sure what the exact color name would be) and would love, love a lemon cuckoo colored. Does any one know of a local breeder or just a BYCer who might have some show quality chicks in these colors? I would entertain other colors too. We thought 4-H and local shows might be fun to try so any info on that would be greatly appreciated too!
