Wet / Muddy Coop

In the below picture we have a coop & we normally have it FULLY covered besides the front for air & ventilation- on sunny days, we pull the tarp half over like shown below for the ducks to get the light & enjoy the nice day. Every time it rains, we of course have it full covered besides the front where the door is & for some reason the rain gets in & gets the pine & everything wet. The food stays dry but the ground is the problem. Last night it rain & as you can see in the picture there’s small puddles. What can we do to make the inside of the coop dry when it rains?

Looks like the run need's to be raised a bit, could you add some draining material to it so the water slopes away from the run, more rock would work, or you could use wood chips. I also want to let you know your coop is not predator-proof.

A 'real' roof with good overhangs...
... and trenching around perimeter to drain water away from going inside enclosure.

I have the same issue. I make a little pallet shack for the drake's outside run and until yesterday it has never gotten waterlogged. It's completely a mess so I'm going to put a pallet floor on it to get it off the ground.
