wet or dry pox? Recommendations?

My beloved 8 month old frizzle hen.
I’m dealing with a pox outbreak. It was dry and now I believe it may be wet..

A few other birds have it but this is by far the worst hen I have.

The sores in mouth make me nervous considering ive heard mortality is usually from a secondary infection from the pox not the pox itself.

Any advise would be great, I’m doing rooster booster in water

I was thinking maybe medicate with baytril or la-200 to prevent infection?

Ive also heard aloe was good for the sores so I did rub some fresh aloe on her face.

Can you post any pictures of the inside of the mouth? I would apply some plain triple antibiotic or Terramycin eye ointment to the eyes with scabs around the eyes. Fowl pox usually clears up in about 3 weeks, but wet pox lesions inside the beak and throat make it more serious. How is she eating and drinking?

So far she’s eating and drinking fine

I will put neosporin around eyes if you think that will help! I also purchased some colloidal silver that should be in, in a few days.. do you think that will help any? Baytril by mouth to help prevent against infection??

Is there a bad odor from her beak? Canker can smell bad, and is similar in appearance to wet pox. I assume the yellow material inside her beak will not come out if you use a QTip to try and remove it? Baytril is an antibiotic, and will not help treat a virus such as pox. I would hold off using antibiotics.
