Wet straw

I don't know if I've posted in the correct section of the forum so administrators and moderators please feel free to relocate the thread. We keep our chicken supplies in a outside storage box and I forgot to close the lid one night and a new bag of straw got wet in the rain. It has since dried out but I was wondering if it's safe or not to use in the nesting boxes?

I would smell it. If it got moldy it will smell, otherwise it should be okay.

Thank you both. I did smell it, can't really smell anything from it and it looks fine. Saves me going out and buying a new bag
