We've had bad luck this year :(

Just venting I guess. We've purchased 6 baby turkeys this year. 2 each, in 3 separate batches. We have lost 4 of them. 1 to a skunk, 1 to a bear, 1 to a hawk and 1 to a blue jay. After each attack, we fix the issues around it, but the predators are having a good year this year, I guess. Out of all of them, we've only had skunk trouble before.

I invested in what i call the penitentiary fence. 5 1/2 feet predator resistance livestock fencing, with a hot wore top and bottom.

. My goats and horses live with the turkeys and I have some large senior turkeys, all together. We do have a pesky owl that grabs a chicken occasionally in fall.
