I’ve had the chick since it was 3 days old and I’ve been pretty diligent with not letting them get wet/chilled etc. they are in my extra dining room so I’m with them almost 24/7. As their feathers develops I noticed this ones are wacky. The more they develop, the more it’s looks like it may be a frizzle . Gunna have my friend come check this little one out. She has had quite a few over the years. She’s no expert either so I may just have to wait this one out. Once it’s fully feathered it should be more clearMaybe they just got wet and started getting intertwined?
