What’s wrong with her?

I have an EE hen that separated from her group and is sitting on the nest box. However she gets up and walks around when I go next to the coop. She already laid today. Is she sick or might she be going broody?? She doesn’t hiss or bite when I touch her or the fake eggs in the nest.

Has she just been there today? It doesn't necessarily mean anything is wrong from what you've posted so far.

Some birds like to lounge in the nest before and after laying.
She may be hiding from the other birds?

My barred rock is not broody, but she likes to sit on her eggs (or anyone's eggs, really) for hours and hours. I can go pick her up and she will go back in the run but she is just proud of those eggs I guess!
