What’s wrong with my girls??!!

My chicks Have lost feathers and look like they’re not growing back… At first I thought they were molting with the feathers aren’t coming back, then I thought it was mites and we dusted them but we don’t see any… What could this be

Do you have a rooster? It kind of looks like where a rooster is mounting them, but there are other things that can cause feather loss too.

No. Only 6 hens. And only 3 of them are having problems

Could be lice or mites. I wouldn't think that's caused from bullying. Are all of them affected?

We thought so too. We’ve treated them and looked for mites and don’t see any. 3 of them have the feather loss. No rooster.

No. Only 3. We looked for mites there are none, we’ve even dusted them. It’s funny only three look like that the rest of them are extremely healthy

They’re about 14 mos old

What method did you use for treating them?

We have put diatomaceous earth in the coop and then everywhere that they play
Lay to Dust themselves. And We have also used some spray and some dust that we’ve gotten at the garden/farm store
