What is wrong with my turkey? It’s been standing like a vampire all day.. super lethargic and doesn’t care about any of the other birds around it. I know one of my black turkeys are a Tom because he was strutting behind one of our other turkeys.. not sure if that has anything to do with it as I’m new to turkeys but what does this mean?

I agree, very sick. is a vet an option? If not, can you bring it inside and put it in a warm room? 80-85 degrees would be ideal. Then can you post a picture of it's poop?
I’ll have my boyfriend do this while I’m at work. Vet isn’t an option unfortunately.. I can always go to the store and get medicine.. do you think it could be worms or mites?

Update... I picked her up and she threw up?! I’ve never seen a turkey or a chicken throw up before.. literally it came out of her mouth it looked like she’s been eating and drinking. I started them out with chick feed and now all of my chickens, turkeys and guineas are on an all flock feed, treats and scratch diet. I also put vitamins and electrolytes in their water daily. When I put her down she pooped but it wasn’t very solid.. unfortunately couldn’t get a pic because it landed in the pine shavings that we use for bedding. I’ll have to check again after work..

It could be worms, might be coccidiosis, but could also be the dreaded histomoniasis, which requires swift, aggressive treatment with drugs that one cannot get at a feed store. :(

Unfortunately I can’t go to the vet. I don’t have the funds right now as I have a two week old sick kitten that is racking up vet bills, milk replacement, ect.. I dust bathed her in DE hoping that will do something if she has mites although many people told me it’s pointless.. my next option is to deworm.. if that doesn’t work I honestly don’t know what to do because i just can’t afford taking another sick animal to the vet :hit
