What a Chicken blessing -- must read!!!

Last week, we took one of our frizzle pullets to a county fair and she was awarded a red ribbon for having feathers too straight...she was thought to be a cross breed. So my little girl was saddened to hear her beloved baby wasn't "up-to-par."

We chalked it up to experience. Anyhow, tonight as the kids were trick or treating with DH, I was home washing and drying birds for another show tomorrow...put birds in another room to dry (same as last week)....DD comes home to check on her baby and can you believe her feathers are absolutely curly?????

This is how God intervenes with a little girl's broken heart!!!
