I starting cutting feed back last week because these are stock for a breeding project , but going to have to slow them down more .
Day olds , and the 2 smallest were able to squeeze in one side and out the other of the feeder
14 day olds , and no chance they will try another trip through the feeder
EEs and a white laced red Cornish at 14 days . I still like the way these hatchery WLRC are built at this point ; but they're living up to their reputation as slow growers . At day one the EEs were the largest , at day three the CX and WLRC had caught them , but after that the CX and most of EE left the bulk of the WLRC behind .
All of them roost , a few at a time , CX included ; but none of them are choosing it full time over the group huddle on the floor .
