What about the Roosters?

I'm going to be switching my chicks feed next week to Laying Pellets...will it be OK for the Roos to eat this as well? They all eat together,so there's no way I can make the Roos eat something else. I thought about buying a 50# of Laying,then a 25# of Grower pellets and just mixing it all up. That way the Roos will still get their Grower pellets. Unless you all tell me it's OK for them to be on just Layer,then I'll just start getting just Layer...

Roos do fine on layer pellets.
If you are planning on processing them you might want to keep them on the grower to get them bigger faster but layer feed does not hurt them.

How old are your chicks? They aren't supposed to be on layer until they start to lay or very close to it.

I'm not planning on eating them. They are close to 16 weeks. As big as their wattles/combs are and as red as they are,I'm hoping they will be laying soon.
