What age can I mix chicks that are 3 weeks apart in age?

I have some 3 week old chicks as well as 1 day olds... What age should I be able to mix the two? They are both standard size birds.

Give the babies a week or so to start developing more and then I would give them another week where they can see each other but not get at each other. We used teh "observation tunnel" with older ones and it generally worked well. Some pecking and such is inevitable, but this usually lessens it.
