What age do black copper marans roosters get colored feathers?

How old are black copper marans roosters when they actually get their orange/green feathers and a long tail?

Doesn't matter what breed, a roosters first feathers are going to be duller and smaller, like a teen boys first facial hair, then whith each molt and rooster becoming more prone to his appearance he will keep his feathers in better shape and color and they'll get longer whith age as well generally, although certain breeds do have certain tail length avg. Most likely he won't be 'pretty' till around 8 months or older.

Our EE Blizzard from 6 months(2nd) to 9 months(3rd) to his current 12+ months(1st). He's currently going through another molt and will be getting in some longer showier tail feathers no doubt whith his next set, although EEs arent the showiest boys around you can see his feathers improve over time. I have Delaware cockerals as well, and don't those boys change frome start to finish, from awkward peppering to even barred collars and tails like it never happened XD!!
