What age do I start growers pellets?

Hi all I have a seven week old pekin which I hatched under a broody hen and is healthy and running free in the garden with the flock she's still on crumbs should I start her on growers pellets yet? And also I've seen her eating the big girl food which is layer pellets and I know that's not good for her yet so how do I stop her eating theirs if she's free ranging?

You can keep it on chick feed or switch to grower, either one; I'd just use up the feed I have and then switch. But you should remove the layer feed entirely, and let the others eat the chick feed or grower, until around 16 weeks.

Ok that's sounds like good advice and now I think of it a bit of common sense,which I'm obviously lacking lol thanks Judy iv taken out the layer pellets now
