What age do you dub an oegb

I've recently just started raising one oegb and was wondering what age do I dub him if it's different than normal game roosters and also why is there a specific age to dub?

oegb are beautiful.. I wouldn't show a bird that needs to be dubbed.. It's bloody & painful.. If you live in a area that freezes get a breed with smaller comb & waddle.. My answer is never...
