What age do you switch chick feed with adult feed?

Don't give layer pellets or layer crumble until they are near to laying (around 20 weeks) as it has too much calcium- even better is to wait until actually laying.

Some brands are starter/grower crumbles, designed to give them until they lay.

Some brands sell the starter crumbles and the grower crumbles separately. Check with your feed store to see what your brand recommends (see if they sell a separate grower)?
