We feed a 75-25 layer/scratch combination. We supplement feed with yogurt and some fruits and green veggies. My chickens also free range during the day.

We wean the chicks onto our layer/scratch between 8-12 weeks, just before we introduce them to the adult flock. Play around with your feed a little bit and find what works best for you.
