Hi all, sorry to add another rooster/hen, but I was totally thinking our Hayhay was a rooster Barred Rock, but he doesn't seem to have the bars of a Barred Rock. So what is he/she? Hayhay is around 18 weeks.

Hello, you said at 18 weeks, and by then a rooster should have more wattle/comb development, also doesn't have much red on the face. I can't give you a 100% but I would say that your chicken is a SHE. Of course, you can't really tell for sure until they start laying/crowing, but fortunately, that should happen soon. I hope that this helps.

Awesome! Any clue on breed/mix of breeds?

Firstly :welcome And also congratulations on your PULLET! Hopefully some eggs soon! I think possibly some legbar and/or barred rock in her and maybe Wyandotte even though comb is wrong it’s just giving me that look, you know? Anyways hopefully others might be a bit more certain with breeds. When she lays you’ll get a good guess of breeds because of egg colour as well. :)

Thank you. I will hope for some cream leg bar and blue eggs!

Ok, so I'm not too good at breeds, but that looks like a Wyandotte to me too! Also, Legbar maybe, they come in all different colors.
