That’s what I was thinking too!! And thank youLooks like a silver laced Wyandotte. Cute little bird!
I think so too, very odd. I did some googling and didn’t see anything quite like this. They’re about 2 weeks old now, and have been eating scratch and peck starter since hatch, which the bag says is 20.5% proteinLooking really closely at this picture... They do look odd. Perhaps things will straighten out in their mini molts as they mature.
What is the protein level in the feed you use?

Are all the birds’ wings developing this way, or just this one? If it’s just this one, it may just need more time. If it’s more than one, I’d quit the scratch and just feed starter to make sure they’re getting enough nutrition.I think so too, very odd. I did some googling and didn’t see anything quite like this. No but I was wondering/worrying that too!! So I went thru all the others just to make sure. It’s the only one like this, even the others (who I assume are the same breed) have normal looking wings. Are you also pretty sure this is a Wyandotte? First timer so no experience with them!!Are all the birds’ wings developing this way, or just this one? Wyandottes are so much fun!
