Thank guys. Like i said, I am really new at the chicken thing so expect many, many more questions!. Right now, I have 2 incubators full of, what should be, full RIR's and BR's. I seperated my 3 different breeds about a month ago. Trying to figure out what is what when they are all together is way to confusing for me!!

You could create black sexlinks by breeding your barred rock hens to the RIR males. Then you would know at the day of hatch which were males and which were females.

The chicks legs are yellow. Unless I got overly excited at hatch time and got confused, I am sure it was a "green" egg. This is another one that hatched out at the same time. Not real good pics.
