What are my chickens?

Hello all, I have just bought a flock of 10 chickens but am not sure I have been given the breeds I was told for some of the chickens.
I will post pictures of each chicken, write the name of the breed I was told it was and number each so as not to get mixed up. All hens are 20 weeks old.

Chicken NO.1 - The First 3 chickens were all sold to me as Barred Rocks. Some look like hybrids to me.




Chicken NO.2 - This one looks abit more like a Barred Rock but I'm not sure (Thinking Marans due to the legs)

The Next 2 chickens were sold to me as Speckledys

Chicken NO.4



Chicken NO.5




Now that's all that were sold to me. The last one is a 12-14 week old cockerel who was given to me. I was told he is a mix but do not know of which breeds. Think he may have a bit of Barred Rock or Marans in him.

Could anyone please tell me if these chickens really are what they were said to be and if not, what are they?

I assume you are in UK> Your chickens are not Rocks. I think all are what you call Speckladys- Marans crosses. The boy is other think. He has a litle crest, white earlobes and yellow legs. I think he is Cream Legbar cros- probably with Specklady.

Thank you very much. Yes I am in the UK. I thought they didn't look much like Rocks when we bought them but they are lovely chickens none the less.

So do you all think they are Speckledys?

Only your second one is a barred rock. Looks like a pure barred rock of hatchery quality to me. I have hens that look like this. The legs just look pale yellow to me. All others are crosses. Never heard of Speckledys?

ETA: Googled it.. Yeah that's a cross anyway - so

Thanks, I thought the barring on it was a bit more defined. Glad we got one of what we asked for at least. They are all laying well so couldn't ask for much more from the hens. Just glad to know what they are.
