What Are my Cockerels Saying?

Roosters have an abundance of different noises they use to communicate with the flock - most of them are some kind of warning since the rooster is the flock watchman. The long high whine noise they make sometimes is some kind of low urgency warning, I believe - I think it says be prepared, something might be coming, something is not quite right. It is followed by a more urgent warning noise if the rooster becomes sure he has seen a threat, or a return to normal activity is everything is safe.

I’m not for sure what exactly, however, both my cockerel and hens make this high pitched squeal. I believe it is when something “new” comes into their line of sight. Not necessarily something threatening, just new. Kind of like a “heads up” sound.
This very close to context I see. In many instances the rooster is tracking something in the air some distance away. The call may be such that it is perceptible only to birds close to rooster, like when they are all resting together.
