What are the causes of feeding chickens spoiled seafood?

Do you mean what would cause someone to do such a thing, or what would the result be?
 
Very ill or dead chickens.

A good rule of thumb would be this: Do not feed the chickens anything you would not eat spoiled, molded, rotted or milk setting outside in hot sun for hours.
