What are the different titles?

Hello, @TwoCrows I am sorry to be bothering you again... but I was wondering how I can discard certain notifications that I have already received? You have been so helpful, I am honestly wondering if there is anybody that asks a ton of questions than me!

No problem!

You can't really discard them if you are watching threads you have posted on, the alerts will keep coming. All you can do is turn them off in your "preferences" if you don't want so many alerts. They are nice to have but yes, sometimes they can be overwhelming.

Thanks for responding so quickly! I have looked through the preferences, and I think I have it as I want it, so I will be more specific, I logged in to BYC and my alerts said 7 so I clicked and viewed them all... however none of them went away, this has never happened before.

I think once in a while there are glitches in the system, I've seen that too, I will log on and it tells me I have 10 alerts but I've already seen them. I don't know why this happens, I think BYC has gremlins.
