I have no clue. I live in Bladensburg Md
Any clues,
Thanks!!!!

Thank u
I followed the link and i didnt see anything on Bladensburg but what i did find was Tacoma Park Md 6 miles away
And thats city limits too but more hectic.
And it said that there are no restrictions and no limits on how many chickens but they do have the noise limit i guess no complaints from neighbors.
I hope we can keepem

You can find it on your county's website, here in laurel we can only have eight hens and no roos.

I found out and they said its illegal.
Laurel is right next door
Also takoma park is down the street and they can too have backyard chickens with no limits.
I really wish we could.

So sorry you didn't get the answer you hoped for. Do you know if any of your neighbors have chickens? Sometimes these things are not enforced unless there is a complaint. If others are keeping chickens, you might check with your neighbors and see if anyone would have a problem with your hens, offer to share extra eggs. Good luck.

Ive had mines for like 4 months already and havent had a problem with them and my neighbors are fine with it.
Hopefully it stays that way with no issues.
Love those fresh eggs in th morning.
Thank you!!!!!!

We can only have eight hens and no roosters, we ended up keeping our roo because our neighbors were cool with it, they get eggs every once in a while even though my hens aren't laying much for winter. Just be warned, sometimes there is a fine for each chicken if you get caught so I'd actually try my luck at changing the laws if it's possible.
I know people have a thing about walking out the house and seeing the chickens there. But my chickens came from a woman who had a friend keep them for her out of her county because she couldn't have them, and she drove back and forth a few times a day to care for them, she got an automatic coop door and everything, which i bought from her and they are now on my property. It's perfect if you have the time. I kinda feel like Maryland is one of those stuck up states with pretty strict rules on chickens.
But i know people with a limit of six who have fifty or so, unless someone complains then the county doesn't care. It's worth trying. Or maybe see if you can keep Guinea Fowl or Ducks? they're not chickens but they're something.
Good luck
