What are the possible reasons why my chick died.

When I saw signs of a pip yesterday afternoon, I made the hole a little bit larger. I did the same to the other eggs, and all of them hatched last night. The chick inside the egg was still alive at that time. However, it died today. The inner shell membrane doesn't contain any blood in it when I opened it, and the amount of inner shell membrane covering the chick since yesterday is the same(none was destroyed except on the part near it's beak).

My broody hen is the one incubating it.

It's possible it had difficulty making the transition from embryo to chick... Maybe it wasn't able to absorb the yolk properly, or its lungs just couldn't work right. I lose more chicks in that transitional stage than I do to any other cause--it's just something that happens sometimes.

When I tried to take it(dead chick) out of the shell, it has completely absorbed the yolk. It is odd, that it was breathing last night and it died today.

I think it died, because it is malpositioned. I feel really bad, because I didn't know that I should help it on that time. I think it is the feet over head malposition.
