What are these bugs?

I keept finding little black bugs on the floor and I can't figure out what they are. I thought they were coming in under the door, but they are actually coming in through a window. They have fairly large clear wings in relation to their body, but they are coming through the screen in the window so I keep finding the wings all over the floor. I'm soo grossed out by this right now! The bugs have long black bodies, six legs, and a roundish head.

Ewww...I just looked up termites and they are winged termites! Ewww! I put in a work order for the apartment we live in (On campus apartment) so I hope they come soon. If they don't what can I spray or put down to get rid of them? I'm so grossed out now. I keep vacuuming them all up!

Ew termites. Not good. I can only imagine you with a dirt devil sucking up bugs XD

Luckily it's just the campus apartment and not my home! But bugs anywhere near where I sleep is not a pleasant thought for me! (Unless of course I'm camping!)

Ya they are termites. They are coming out of the wood because of the time of year. They are called swarmers, their job is to fly off and find a new place to live. That is why their wings fall off.
