What are these cages?

I just bought a foreclosed property where the previous owners left quite a lot of junk in the pasture. There's a chicken coop that's in good shape, and i'm hoping to eventually get a few chickens. They also left 7 of these mysterious cages in the pasture? In my non existent chicken knowledge, I assume they might be rooster cages? Game bird cages?

I was going to list them for free on craigslist, but i'm not sure what to call them? Would there be any reason to keep them if i'm just hoping to have a few hens in the future?

They're about 3x3x3 with a perch in the middle. Some have a tin roof. Most are in various states of disrepair.

they are probably breeding pens set up for a pair or trio...

My guess would be game bird cages.

based mostly on their apparent state of disrepair, i don't think i would hang on to them. maybe just salvage any re-usable materials from them in case you can use them in the future.

You`re right, they are rooster cages and they could have been used for breeding pairs. I`ve seen stuff like this before........Pop
