Here's a 6 week black (they tell me it's a girl, too)

And here's my Blue...

It's hard to tell without them side by side, but the blue is halfway between the black and white... more white than black, tho.

I hope we're right, and you have girls. You should know it a couple of months when they start laying the prettiest little eggs...

Justino, you have two girls and one boy(Dragon).

Others in this thread are too young to be sure as of yet.

I agree, I think either all girls or maybe dragon is a boy but I am leaning to all girls. My 11 wk olds have combs already if a boy, but I guess they are all different, esp. with silkies.

Keep us posted. Either way, sounds like you got lucky.

I have two new silkies - about a month old and I'm curious to know what you look for to tell the sexes apart.

I have week olds as well and will need to do the same thing. I think one for sure is a boy because he has a huge crown on his head, but I'm guessing.

What do you look for?
