I hatched out some chicks the guy said he had silkies and Cochins if they mixed what would I call them? Here is a picture of the chicks. So have yellow becks and yellow legs and some have green becks and dark legs. P,ease help what do I call them????

So if they have yellow beaks and yellow legs would they be pure? And how many toes should Cochins have? And should they have feathered feet like silkies? Just wondering what to look for? They are a week old tomorrow" also can I sell them now? Or are they too young? Sorry new to the chicken thing.. Thank you

Fine to ask a lot of questions!
I'm not a breeding expert, but I'd find it unlikely for a bird with yellow legs in that cross to be a hybrid (the Silkie gene for dark skin, bones, flesh, etc is dominant). Cochins always have four toes, Silkies always have five. Not sure one toes genetics, so I'm not sure how many toes that particular cross would have. Cochins do have feathered feet like silkies. If you bought them as mixes, then most should be mixes. I'm guessing that the produced offspring would have feathered feet, black skin, and regular feathers (if they have down like Silkies, then they're pure-bred, as the down feather gene of Silkies is recessive). You could probably sell them now.
