What are these feed store mysteries?

They were at TSC in the bin marked "red pullets."

Any guesses? I'm hoping for anything that's not a sex link rooster.

Looks like they could be a production red.

One on the left looks like a sexlink pullets and the one on the right looks like a production red, don't worry you won't end with a sexlink rooster as they can be sexed by color, hatcheries, which is where the feed stores get their chicks, will always send pullets when it comes to sexlinks, its the other breeds that are not sex links that they might get their sexing wrong.

Production red/red sex link pullets. If they were sex link roosters, they'd be almost white.

I got one that looks like the yellower one a month ago from the red pullet bin at tsc and it is feathering out to be a production red. For a while there, I was sure it was a roo, but it is looking like a pullet now. lol

Thanks, all, the reassurance that I'm not going to wind up with three roosters this season (when all I want is one pullet) is great! I love my Production Red hen that I have now and my husband loves her eggs, so hopefully we will be happy with these guys. Now to find a home for the Dominique roo that I'm raising with them...
