We got four bantam chicks at Atwoods today. They were assorted, so we don't know what they are. Any suggestions as to what they may be?

My camera was being funny with the lighting in this one. A new picture may be best if nobody can tell what it is in this picture.

This is the same chick, but is a little blurry. I'll have to take some better pictures of this one, I think. You can see the one behind it pretty much perfectly though.

Also while reviewing the pictures I took and picking out the best looking ones, I noticed that the white chick seemed to have something on its rear.

This is my first time having chicks and I'm really worried that I'll do something wrong and end up killing them. Is something wrong with this little chick? Also anyone have a rough idea on age? I forgot to ask the workers at Atwoods. Though I'm not sure that they would have even known. The white chick is just a little bit bigger than the others.
I do have one question as well. Right now we're using a 40 watt regular light bulb. I didn't think that it was right for them since it's a regular bulb and not a chick one. So we're about to go get a 250 watt red bulb. Now the light isn't hanging over them, it's clipped onto the brooder. It can't really be moved up or down at all, so will 250 make them too hot?
