What are we?

I got 2 laying hens last night for $5 each!

Can you tell me what you think they are? They are laying eggs.

they look like red sex links...are the eggs a tinted brown?

The guy I got them from said they lay brown eggs and i think he said the darker one is a NHR hen? I havent gotten any eggs yet!

yes, the larger one NHR, just caught a good look at the black tail ends. nice looking hens too!

Thanks! Now i have about four different types of chickens and I dont know what they are! All of the hens I bought as chicks are supposed to be nhrs. When we were at the guys house he asked me which type i wanted and my dad said immediately brown egg layers. I was soo mad cause i already have brown egg layers! I wanted to get some of the aracaunas but my dad had to open his mouth. So now I have 8 brown egglayers.

I am mad cause now I cant get any more unless I build another coop. My coop would be bulging with chickens. No not really. but I am going to start on another coop!
