What are you chickens most afraid of?!

This us just a fun thread where people can tell funny, weird, and strange fears of their chickens! My hens are afraid of... other birds! Like Robins and Chickedees! They will run inside the coop if one lands on a post. Lol! Silly girls!

My chickens are afraid of fresh bedding. Every time I clean their coop, they freak out and roost above it and watch it for a while. I only clean their coop when they are outside in their run. Then they start pecking at it and calm down and shove most of it in a corner and lay in it. My chickens are only 2 months old. I like to throw meal-worms on the bedding (which is hay) and they freak out when the meal-worms climb on them. Then they eat them.

Mine are scared of the dark! Never had any predators so not sure why. Poor girls, when my husband is running a bit behind putting them in for the night, they huddle together and fuss until he comes to get them
